Allways on the look out for new and exciting fabrics I recently found these gems.

Monaluna is a small surface design company which designs and sells modern, organic cotton fabric out of a 100-year-old farmhouse in Walnut Creek, CA. Jennifer  Moore, the designer behind Monaluna, began licensing her artwork for fabric in 2008. After designing several successful collections for Robert Kaufman Fabrics, Jennifer decided to launch her own collection of organic cotton prints in 2010.

Monaluna fabric is made in India from 100% organic cotton and printed with AZO-free dyes. The fabric is made from medium-weight poplin weave, and is ideal for quilting, apparel and baby and kids’ items as well as home accessories.

Three additional Fabrics

New in the shop are three additional fabrics to match the wonderfull collection of plain cottons.

Handloom, fair trade, organic cotton in shirting quality, great hues within a mediteranean palet. These fabrics make me want to sew all sorts of items and objects, how about you? Also see my shop window, a custom made mens shirt just left the studio....

GOTS Certified Organic Cotton Sewing Thread

Now available in our shop! 100% certified organic sewing thread in beautiful colors. Each wooden bobbin contains 100 meters. The hreads are spun in The Netherlands, so made in Europe!  When your bobbin is empty, you can make an old fashioned string knitting device. Or you can give it to your cat to play with. Or you can send it back to us. All possible.
